While my father stayed here in Vienna, on the second day we went to the inner city to get something nice to eat at Maredo and to take a walk. While we were walking around kinda aimlessly we discovered the Schmetterlinghaus (Butterfly House) and thought we should take a look inside. There were so many beautiful butterflies, and I could take a lot of great photos as you can see below. It was just kinda hot, so we decided to leave after a short time. I even found one freshly hatched butterfly, which you can also see in my photos. What...

Last Saturday Tom and me went to the Distant Worlds: music from Final Fantasy Event at the Wiener Konzerthaus here in Vienna. I heard about this concert only one week in advance when I received one of the many Square Enix newsletters. We more or less instantly ordered ticket from oeticket.com and got them via mail in the middle of the week. There were even special VIP tickets including a Meet and Greet with Nobuo Uematsu, the composer of these and many other great video game songs, and Arnie Roth, the conductor, but we decided to get the middle price tickets,...

Last sunday I invited some friends over for a summer BBQ party. I planned this date already 2 months ago and I was a little scared, because the weather has been so bad right before last sunday. Fortunately it was a wonderful day with a lot of sun, but it wasn't that hot on the other hand. Perfect for a delicious barbecue outside! I prepared some salads (greek, italian noodle salad and tofu-couscous salad) and we also had a lot of meat and grilled vegetables. Everyone brought something nice, so we had sooo much to eat and drink! The dresscode was: Colorful...

I took holiday this week (but I have to work on saturday again), so I have a lot of free time and will hopefully be able to catch some sun and get some things done. As some of you'll know E3 starts today! I'm already so excited about the next generation (well, at least for the PS4) and all the new games that they'll show or even might announce. Except for all the obvious stuff, I'm really interested if there are some new JRPGs. Ni no Kuni was great and we even get Tales of Xillia 1 later this year, but...

Okay, these are the last photos I took in Hannover. The weather hasn't been the best on that day, but we took a nice walk around the nearby meadows just in between Bothfeld and Lahe. You'll quickly notice why I love my hometown so much: Everything is so amazing green and the world looks kinda peaceful! ...

Here are some photos, which I took while I was in Hannover. Tiggy (Tiger) is my family's cat. He is male and also older, biiiiigger and heaviiiier than my two balls of fluff and mischief. He's also way more moody, at least it seems so to me. But he is cute nevertheless! I was lucky that I got a lot of nice shots of him in the garden and also took some nature pictures. ...

So in mid-May I finally visited my family in Hannover/Germany again for one and a half week. The weather was pretty nice. Not as hot as in Vienna at that time, it really felt like spring with occasional rain, that always stopped pretty fast again. We used a lot of time for gaming. We bought Persona 4 Arena and the new Naruto Shippuuden PS3 game, we played some Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and a PSN Bomberman (Bomberman never gets old!). We also puzzled all characters through "The Cave", a PSN download game by the Monkey Island creator. It was hilarious...

Hi everyone, I'm back from my vacation in Hannover again. I had a great time finally visiting my family again, but before I tell you about Hannover, let me first tell you about the beautiful wedding I've been at, just one day before our flight was booked: Tom's best friend from school was getting married and we were invited. I was a little bit nervous, because I know he is a perfectionist, and me with my new hair color and I also didn't know really anyone except for him >.<...
