Fairies in the Sky

Maybe you still remember how I bought this fairy print Lolita skirt at AniNite 2015? I still couldn’t find any more information about it, so I’ll just assume that it’s indeed a skirt from a Japanese brand called Lolita Alice.

I really wanted to create a nice daily Lolita coordinate with the skirt, but it was harder than I thought. I couldn’t find a good top to go with it in my closet(s) and I also didn’t want to use my (pretty old) white Lolita blouse from Anna House (as seen here for example), which I would wear with most of my Lolita coordinates. I only own two “real” Lolita blouses. Another old black one from Fan+Friend and said white one ^.^°… So, in the end, I decided  to just wear a cardigan with it. I have so many different colored cardigans, but the only one that matched the skirt, except white of course, was this dark blue one.

Together with my white and light blue striped socks, red-brown boots that match the color of my wig, and some feather and flower accessories and the outfit was finished. All of the pieces I used except for the skirt are already really old ^,^° (like 5 years on average).

Fairies in the Sky

I already took these photos last year in September, but I never uploaded them to my blog. Back then I transferred them from my camera onto the PC, and when I looked at them I just didn’t like them at all. I thought the coordinate was really bad and everything about the photos was just terrible.

Then one month ago someone favorited one picture of this “photoshoot” on Flickr and when I took a look at them again, they weren’t as bad as I thought they have been. And so I decided to post this outfit anyway.

I think the color balance with blue, white and brown is pretty good after all and I really like how the color of my eyes match all the other light blue parts. And I’m always completely surprised by how natural this wig looks on me. I used some brown eyeshadow on my eyebrows so the color matches perfectly with the color of the wig.
