Super Mario Card Matching Game

Club Nintendo - Super Mario Card Matching Game

Last year Nintendo’s loyalty program Club Nintendo closed and before all our coins which we collected over all those years with our Wii, WiiU, DS and 3DS games, were gone for good, we had to cash them in for some rewards. You could get download codes for games, or special 3DS backgrounds, but we rather wanted to have some physical item. There were all kinds of stuff available over the years like pouches, coaster sets, game soundtracks or a Yoshi egg backpack, but with the coins we had, we decided to get the Club Nintendo exclusive Super Mario Card Matching…

One Piece Pirate Warriors 2 Collector’s Edition

When there are so many new games coming out, it’s a sure sign that summer is over. There’s not only Final Fantasy XIV – A Realm Reborn and Tales of Xillia (and others would also add games like Saints Row 4 and Payday 2 to the list) that came out in the last past weeks, but there’s also the second One Piece Pirate Warriors game, which was released last week. We got the Collector’s Edition, which comes with a great figure of Luffy. Here’s our unboxing video: As you can see, this time we were better prepared and checked out…

Tales of Xillia – Milla Maxwell Collector’s Edition

Let’s celebrate, there’s a new JRPG out! Finally also fans from outside Japan are able to buy and play Tales of Xillia (at least if you didn’t get the japanese import version yet), which came out in Japan already two years ago. It was clear right from the beginning that we would buy this game, but when we read that there will be a special collector’s edition of the game with a beautiful Milla figure for preorder at the official Namco Bandai store (later also available on other sites as amazon) we knew we had to get this special limited…

A Realm Reborn

I’m finally allowed to talk about Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and can show you some of the first screenshots from Beta Phase 3 ^,^! First of all: A Realm Reborn is a lot better than Version 1! Well it would be pretty bad if not, but now you can finally enjoy the game, how it should have been from the start. As you might know I’ve been playing Final Fantasy XI for over 8 years now. We started playing in April 2004 and I love this MMORPG more than any other MMO. It just has everything: A perfectly…

Please be Excited for E3!

OMG OMG OMG! Square Enix announced Final Fantasy XV (formerly known as Final Fantasy Versus XIII) and Kingdom Hearts III for Sony PlayStation!!! I’m so happy and overwhelmed because both are looking soooo cool! [ Source: IGN ] First of all: It looks so great! It seems to be a lot more action-orientated than the main Final Fantasy games before, but as I’m also a big fan of games like Kingdom Hearts, Drakengard and the newer action MMORPGs, it’s alright for me. As long as you have at least some freedom to explore, a lot of cool sidequests and a great…

Family Days

So in mid-May I finally visited my family in Hannover/Germany again for one and a half week. The weather was pretty nice. Not as hot as in Vienna at that time, it really felt like spring with occasional rain, that always stopped pretty fast again. We used a lot of time for gaming. We bought Persona 4 Arena and the new Naruto Shippuuden PS3 game, we played some Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and a PSN Bomberman (Bomberman never gets old!). We also puzzled all characters through “The Cave“, a PSN download game by the Monkey Island creator. It was…

Game Review: Ni no Kuni

Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch was finally released in Europe, and I had the big honor to test this game for a friend’s website called Cerealkillerz. You can find my (mostly identical) german review here. I’ve always been a big fan of JRPGs, but I’ve been kinda disappointed about the releases of the last years, if there even were that many JRPGs  to begin with… Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2 were two biiiiig let-downs for me, also Tales of Graces f was pretty nice, but somehow it wasn’t as exciting as Tales of the Abyss (one of the…

Guardian Cross

Today I want to present you an iOS Game called Cuardian Cross by Square Enix, which I’ve been playing for some time now. It’s a fantasy card battle RPG with beautiful artwork and created by developer of some of the Final Fantasy games. So you can also find summons and monsters from the Final Fantasy series as Guardians, how they are called in this game. You can catch them and then you can use them as cards to battle other Guardians and also other people or you friends. You can get the game for free in the App Store. Unfortunately…
