Kupo! Kupo!

I love Moogles! Those fluffy Cat-Mouse-Bats from Final Fantasy (and Kingdom Hearts, but that’s basically Final Fantasy, too + Disney) are just some of the cutest game mascots ever. Last month I saw a photo post from the official german Square Enix Facebook Page of a girl wearing an incredibly sweet pink dress with a Moogle print on it! They also provided a link to the dress label: Living Dead Clothing. Oh no, just why did I click on this link? The Australian company creates dresses, skirts, tops, leggings and a lot more with a lot of unique cool and nerdy…

Let’s go to Ivalice!

I already planned this post just some days before Flynn’s birth last year in July, but I never finished it because I just didn’t have any energy left last year ^.^°… But now, here it is: Some years ago I made my first real Hama bead picture. It was a pixel Link and Zelda from A Link to the Past. We found an “A Link to the Past” Artwork of the Master Sword in the forest on the internet and printed it out, then glued the ironed bead pictures to the picture and put everything in a frame. If you’re interested,…

Adventures in Eorzea

I’m really sorry for the lack of updates as of late. When I wasn’t at work, eating or sleeping I was playing Final Fantasy XIV – a lot. Well, I played it pretty much on any occasion, but I’m not one of those players who just rush through a game and get to max level in one or two weeks. For now our highest jobs are White Mage and Dragoon with level 30, followed by Arcanist and Marauder at level 25. I also spend a lot time on the gathering and crafting classes to get good materials and create my…

A Realm Reborn

I’m finally allowed to talk about Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and can show you some of the first screenshots from Beta Phase 3 ^,^! First of all: A Realm Reborn is a lot better than Version 1! Well it would be pretty bad if not, but now you can finally enjoy the game, how it should have been from the start. As you might know I’ve been playing Final Fantasy XI for over 8 years now. We started playing in April 2004 and I love this MMORPG more than any other MMO. It just has everything: A perfectly…

Distant Worlds

Last Saturday Tom and me went to the Distant Worlds: music from Final Fantasy Event at the Wiener Konzerthaus here in Vienna. I heard about this concert only one week in advance when I received one of the many Square Enix newsletters. We more or less instantly ordered ticket from oeticket.com and got them via mail in the middle of the week. There were even special VIP tickets including a Meet and Greet with Nobuo Uematsu, the composer of these and many other great video game songs, and Arnie Roth, the conductor, but we decided to get the middle price…

Please be Excited for E3!

OMG OMG OMG! Square Enix announced Final Fantasy XV (formerly known as Final Fantasy Versus XIII) and Kingdom Hearts III for Sony PlayStation!!! I’m so happy and overwhelmed because both are looking soooo cool! [ Source: IGN ] First of all: It looks so great! It seems to be a lot more action-orientated than the main Final Fantasy games before, but as I’m also a big fan of games like Kingdom Hearts, Drakengard and the newer action MMORPGs, it’s alright for me. As long as you have at least some freedom to explore, a lot of cool sidequests and a great…

Let’s enjoy the Beginning of Summer!

I took holiday this week (but I have to work on saturday again), so I have a lot of free time and will hopefully be able to catch some sun and get some things done. As some of you’ll know E3 starts today! I’m already so excited about the next generation (well, at least for the PS4) and all the new games that they’ll show or even might announce. Except for all the obvious stuff, I’m really interested if there are some new JRPGs. Ni no Kuni was great and we even get Tales of Xillia 1 later this year,…
