Chocolate Bonbon

L'Oréal Casting Crème Gloss - Chocolate Bonbon - Hair colorAfter my last visit at the hairdresser back in June, some time has already passed and most of the color had already faded away by September. My hair was really light again and I always had the feeling like you could see some of the bluish-green undertones in some parts in my hair again (I don’t know If it was just me, but take a look at my tips here… Such a strange color), that came from my blue than purple to pink hair I had until last summer.

I was pretty unsure what to do with my hair now, I didn’t have any money to go to the hairdresser again, and I also didn’t know what color I wanted to have as well. In the end, I was so pissed off by my hair in October, that I decided to just get a hair dye from the store. I bought the color 635 “Chocolate Bonbon” from L’Oréal’s Casting Crème Gloss hair colors. I also had good experiences with them because I used their color “Chocolat” and “Caramel” (they all sound so delicious…) for quite some time many years ago and was always pleased by the result

Chocolate Bonbon is a nice dark blonde color with gold-mahogany reflexes. For me, it was a little bit less golden and mahogany-colored than I thought it might look, but I was still happy with the outcome. I only bought one box, but I would have needed two for my hair length, so the tips didn’t get much dye anymore, but it was enough to cancel out those greenish undertones.

It’s supposed to last for around 8 weeks. By that time I already felt the need for another dyeing session again. Especially because of how fast my hair grows and the gray/white hairs @_@… It was already pretty light by that time again.

What I like about this color is that it’s a little bit different than all those other light browns or dark blondes. Even if the reflexes aren’t that visible, they add some interesting effects and more character to the color.

Since this was already three months ago now, you can guess that I already dyed my hair in yet another color again just recently ^,^°, but this is a story for another time. Maybe you can get a little hint from my Instagram photos.

What do you think about this color? Have you already tried out any of the Casting Crème Gloss hair colors?
